    Matt Damon movies are NOTHING alike. That's one thing people can't take from him... he doesn't just keep doing the same ol same. Hell- just recently... The Informant, True Grit, Ponyo, Invictus... could you get any more different?

    With Denzel- it's not only the same movie... he's the same character every film, regardless of script. He's great at playing Denzel Washington. Same for guys like Morgan Freeman, Christophere Walken, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, etc.

    Though I saw Denzel in an old movie trying to play a Jamaican and it was painfully bad... so he should probably stick to playing Denzel.

    So Denzel's character was the same in both Training Day and Remember the Titans? :)

    Denzel's issue isn't the roles he takes. He's taken a number of different and interesting roles.

    The problem is that his cadence and delivery are usually extremely similar from film to film. He's a solid actor, he just really has one setting - Denzel.
