i'd guess it will take somewhere within one to two weeks.
Yesterday on NFL Live, I was surprised to hear Mark Schlereth say that he felt Jones would get a reduction. He went on to say that if it goes as far as Jones sueing the NFL (if the suspension isn't reduced) that he would probably win there. His basic rationale is that Jones should be treated under the old policy. I was actually sort of surprised to hear him say this.
John Clayton pretty much said that Jones had no chance.
We will see...
Someone from ESPN agreeing with Pacman Jones? Shocking....
Everybody should read this appeal. It lists other player transgressions that were not addressed by the commissioner. It really makes a strong case that Pac was unfairly punished and highlights the fact that Goodell "made an example" of him- something Goodell stated he would not do.
good to see they read the underlined part before publishing it.
btw that is a lot of cases.
and the Jaguars have a few thugs of their own it seems.
Yeah- it is a STRONG argument for Pac. I'm hopeful it gets reduced to 6 games.
kick him out for the full yr :moon2: :grrhee:
don't be bitter.
