SUMMARY: The incident which suspended Titans DT Albert Haynesworth has been hashed and rehashed since the moment he stepped on Cowboys C Andre Gurode's helmet-less face.

During the six weeks Haynesworth has been away from Baptist Sports Park, Titans fans have been openly critical of him for letting down the team and he deserved every bit of it.

What Haynesworth did that day was appalling. He may as well had stomped on the face of his teammates and the franchise which has lined his pockets so well. It is one of the most senseless things seen on the football field in the history of the game.

But it's time to move on.

I agree 100%! Big Al is a good player that just screwed up but he has served his time. He just needs to get back on the field and light it up.

I think things happen in the heat of battle. I can forgive AH for his actions faster than I can a player beating up his girlfriend, or spitting on one. I honestly don't believe AH meant to cut the guy open, which made the entire incident so appalling. He never "stomped" on the guy, but he did rake his head twice with his cleats, which made it appear so gruesome. He's paid his dues and hopefully with the counseling he has received he will be OK in the future.

If he goes to counselling, and is forgiven by Gorode, I'm okay with him.

He's done the right things. He's on a short string, but he's earned another chance. Let's see him make a difference on Sunday!
