UT Athletic Department $200 Million In Debt

This is my favorite thread of all time.

Just a quick note. Apparently UT is actually worse than thought. They are carrying $263 Million debt.

And actually I'm talking about UTjr in Austin, TX

Lol this is great god i hate ut stole the real UT in Texas' abbreviation.

Maybe they should place a huge bet in Vegas on the next game against the Gators and take a dive.....oh wait never mind.

University of Tennessee is a lot older than University of Texas so that is correct.

My point is that UT isn't the first athletic dept to run in the red and won't be the last by any means.

You mean instead of saving hundreds of millions for facility renovations and paying it all out that UT took a loan???

Wow, how shocking.

Who underwrote that loan? I have a few surfshops in Kansas that could use a loan. Apparently, all you have to do is lose 4 million a year and companies will line up to give you 9 figures. Easy enough.
