do you think adding one rookie is really going to stop that from happening?

He's going to only look better and better every year. You think he's that dense he won't adjust any from year to year? That's his greatest asset, is his ability to learn and adapt.. line won't look so rough, even Mett showed major improvement in year 2 working behind this line

Ever hear of spacial awareness? That improves with experience doing something

I'm all for a trade down as well, personally I'm hoping for Ramsey.

In FA I'd go after Eric Berry, CJ Anderson or Lamar Miller and Alston Jeffrey and pick up a vet RT, we have the $.

This argument is so backwards I don't even understand it. How do teams ever upgrade their oline if it takes 5 to see a difference? All at once? Its just a binary thing, check 1 if they're all good, if they're bad check 0? Why upgrade in free agency if it won't help us anyways? Why do GMs consistantly take LTs in the top ten picks of the draft?

If anything I think this works against you, you're implying that a position on the Oline affects EVERY OTHER OFFENSIVE LINEMEN... Then by that logic selecting Tunsil will improve every other offensive linemen...

Yes? Allowing Lewan to move to RT and let Bell/Poutasi battle it out at the other Guard position. And that's assuming the OL stays as it. It's better than watching our franchise QB get David Carr'd every season.

Drafting Lewan and Warmack should have had a similar result, but it didn't.

Lewan playing RT won't change the fact he's a scrub

So we should bank on our young franchise QB becoming more aware of the trash team we have around him so he can use his 4.5 speed to run for his life every game? Sounds like a great plan.

When you can maximize value it would be dumb to take otherwise unless for some reason you believe a team will jump early on them. If you know said player you want till be available 3-4 picks later and you have the ability to gain more from a trade, it would be silly not to do it. The first round this is tougher to gauge. A player that comes to mind would be Hargraves. He was a top 10 guy, now has a high probability of dropping. If you think hes a top 10 pick but has a high probability of being there at the top of the 2nd, would you honestly waste that pick knowing you have a high likelihood of scoring him at a lower price?

So because we made mistakes in the past means we shouldn't own up to them? Wow good thing we didn't follow this thinking and drafted Mariota. Probably should've stuck with VY and Locker a bit longer.
