Vince on 60 Minutes this Sunday

Not much.

Talked about how nervous he was during the rose bowl play, but didn't show it.
Talked about F'in Jeff Fisher ( to himself) about missing the plane and he did not want to play as in he was too pissed to play when Fish wouldn't hold the plane for him.
He is better than Reggie Bush
He was angry about not winning the Heisman
His father ( in prison ) should love the man, not the player
He loves his critics
Never doubts himself. Ever.
He was a real bad kid
Said he had to grow up on syrup sandwiches
Said they were poor
Loves his dad but not what he did, but doesn't talk to him
Nobody can tell him nothing.
Had to rake leaves after getting cuffed by the police.

Many of the questions were leading. They really wanted him to appear to have a problem with ego and authority. Take this exchange on the airplane incident:
"He's got a temper?"
"I think he was embarrassed," Fisher

That is the funniest thing Ive ever seen in my entire life. Im not laughing at the fact that he couldn't have a good home cooked meal im just laughing at "syrup sandwhiches" that is freaking hilarious

I don't Vince has a big ego, y'all ever notice how little he speaks about his own talents? He is just a homer for the Titans. He believes we are a play-off team, and if that is wrong, I don't want to be right.

The fans want Vince to "find a way to win"...how do you think he does that?

Hint: it's NOT by thinking "gee, maybe the critics are right, and I can't do this".

 

He says we're going to be however good and people tell him to stop saying it--this was the only thing he was responding to (that he wouldn't let anybody keep him from stating his own expectations). All I was saying is that it had nothing to do with anything personal or behaviorial, but strictly wins. Maybe overly optimistic, but not selfish.
