    A few things...

First, nice job and is a hundred times better than I could do. But here are a few things to consider...

1 - The face mask is more open than a current helmet. Not sure if you did that so you could see more of his face or not, but the bars are closer together and there is not a bar that goes where the chin strap goes.

2 - The thumb on his left hand appears to be as long or longer than any other finger.

3 - The ball appears to be a bit small, but that may be just the angle that you drew it.

4 - The bottom of his jersey looks odd. Jerseys are long and don't come in at the bottom as yours does. Either it's tucked in which case it should look tucked into the pants or it should hang loose.

5 - Is there a reason he appears to have an under shirt sticking out from the jersey on his right arm but not the left? Perhaps this is supposed to be a sports wrap or something?

6 - He looks like he either has a tag or belt buckle saying Titans. What is this?

7 - He looks like he's got some 'love handles.' Most - if not all - QB's wear a rib protector that makes them look like they are wearing a chunky bullet proof vest giving there torso a boxy appearance.

8 - The pants extend over the knee.

9 - The legs appear to be of different lengths and I would suggest a little more differentiation between the calf and thigh for the front leg.

10 - The straps/laces of the cleats look strange to me.

I offer the above purely to help, not criticize. I'll also leave you with a couple of links to pics I think my help...

And for comparison and pose considerations, here's a shot of McNair in a very similar pose.

    Good luck!

I look forward to seeing your final version!:)

That's just great detail. Vy always has a bit of his undershirt sticking out.

When you start sketching a body, things have to be proportionate or in the end the outcome is going to look odd. I suck at bodies and faces, and that's mostly why. It's hard to get the symmetry right.

But if you use the ol'ball man base, it does make it a lot easier. On your rough sketch start with just lines and balls. Makes it easier to map his facial expression also.

You can kind of see how I did it above. Hope it helps.

It makes it a lot easier to build on if you start out that way.

And Gut criticized in a nice way, but some things didn't need correcting. His thumb will look the same size due to perception. It's the closest finger to the viewer. Yours is fine.
The ball- same way. It'll look small and more circular because of the angle. Yours is fine, other than the stitch line at the bottom. It should go the same direction as the other lines.
Foot - same thing. With detail added, it'd look right. From our perspective and the angle of his foot- it wont look like the common shape of a foot.

He does have a Titans logo around the belt buckle area, he does have a shirt sleeve that's visable under the other that wouldn't be seen on the other side due to his forearm. So all good there.
