I won't ever forgive him for signing with ASU. We had the chance to pair him with Manti Te'o, and we lost both of them. But, this is about Burfict as a pro prospect. He's the best LB I've scouted since Aaron Curry (apparently missed on him, but I think he's in the wrong scheme). This guy is quick, strong, and most of all, tough. He reminds me of Ray Lewis, he lacks inhibition. He shows complete disregard for his body, and that's a compliment. I think LB will still be one of our biggest needs next year, despite drafting Ayers. Watch the film, I think you'll agree. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cp6fhFL-tlE&feature=channel_video_title http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAPTnCMZEdg&feature=channel_video_title http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxQEkLHo0F4&feature=channel_video_title
I haven't "scouted" anyone, but of the guys returning to college ball that I've had a chance to follow, he is the one that impressed me the most.
ive watched a couple of his games and he is definitely the real deal. i would be ecstatic if we ended up with him.
Scouted, watched. It's all the same to me. It's probably something I delude myself with, but I've enjoyed doing it since I was young.
The dude is a monster, but I doubt the Titans take a LB 1st round in '12. With McRath, McCarthy, Curran, and Ayers we have young talent. Not to mention Witherspoon and possibly Tulloch may be on the roster.
