I don't know what to make of it. I know that if I were Vince it would make me sick. But Vince wants to be in TN apparently, so I think he is willing to let the past go. Otherwise he would leave TN at the first chance. And there's no indication of that. Fisher is getting his this year and that may be enough vindication for Vince. He's been down this road before at Texas so I think he can see the long term over the make me sick moment.

I think VY and Pac Man are aware enuff to see through the Jeff Fisher facade. His perefect little world is not so perfect. And he's no father figure. He just another dude trying to get by. Jeff Fisher was probably genuinely happy, but his perfect happy world is an illusion, and I'd prefer he was more real with his own mistakes and faults. "gut feeling." Great. how about we go with your "intuition" next time. How about you look at the numbers and game film to make decisions. That seems to work for everyone else. Or just admit you could have done it better.

Regardless, This situation-relationship could have gone sour and it didn't. Both persons have sucked up their pride a little on it and let it go. That's no small thing. Because if they did not, it can blow up. Once your employees turn on you it can be over. So for them to make ammends is a big deal. And that's what you have to do in life. You've got to let it go to move on. And I think even bigger than VY letting an interception or bad play go, his willingness to let go of the past with Jeff Fisher is an even bigger step in the right direction. Whether he had to change to let it go, I don't know, I tend to think he has let things go his whole life, but the simple fact that they can move on is no small thing for our future. It's a sign that we can get through the tough times together and turn the corner.

 

Great thread guys, we turned our 1970's porn star mustache having coach into a bigger weirdo. It is funny, but were gonna hear crap from every other fan forever. Fisher has given Texan & Jaguars fans so much material to throw at us. First the Manning jersey, now this. Poor Vince has to get caught in the middle.

 

Who the hell cares what Texans and Jag fans think. Everyone saw him lean on his shoulder, it was rather ghey.
