Tight end Delanie Walker will continue practicing this week, but coach Mike Munchak didn’t guarantee that the former 49er would play in the final preseason game on Thursday at Minnesota.

Walker, who has yet to play while recovering from knee surgery, has said he’d like to play in the final preseason game.

“He’s practicing and going forward,” Munchak said, “so it just depends on how much everyone is playing and we’ll make a decision on him.”

Easily the most disappointing signing this season.

I wouldn't say all that.. It's not like he is dropping passes or missing blocks.. If he is hurt and can't perform for the preseason, I will give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think he will be vital to our attack. I really wanted to see him in the preseason, but it looks like it won't happen this year.
