Titans tight end Delanie Walker caught a career-high 10 passes on Thursday night against the Colts.

He also caught a head-butt to the face from Colts linebacker Erik Walden, who played at MTSU.

“What got him riled up? I was whupping his butt, that’s what happened, and the cat couldn’t take it when he was getting whupped,’’ Walker said afterward. “He got frustrated, and he should have been ejected for what he did. That’s bush league and that’s the type of stuff we don’t need in this league.”

Following a play in the second quarter, Walden ripped off Walker’s helmet and flung it downfield. When Walker approached Walden, Walden head-butted Walker right in the face when he wasn’t wearing a helmet.

Walden was penalized on the play, but wasn’t ejected.

“I threw a punch at him; I’m not going to lie about that. It’s on film,’’ Walker said. “But that was just a reaction. You head butt me in the face because I am beating you? C’mon.”

Walker is already looking forward to facing Walden when the two teams meet again on December 1 in Indianapolis.

“I whupped on him the whole game, and I’m going to whup on him again in two weeks,’’ Walker said. “We are not cool. That type of stuff doesn’t belong in the NFL.”

Walker is one of the few players keeping this team competitive.

    Hell, maybe he can coach?

How he didn't get ejected is beyond comprehension.

You're in WI Msut. Are you as hammered as I am right now. Finished off a 12 pack of High Life by the end of the 3rd then stole my buddies Sprecher Hard Root Beer. Us Wisconsinites know how to dull the pain.

Where you at in WI? Next week we can meet up and get drunk together to dull the pain of the Raiders loss. We all know it's going to happen.

I'm about 20 mins north of Milwaukee but I go to UWM. So I'm usually somewhere between there and the Bayshore area. Where in Milwaukee are you at?

Oakland Ave. right by UWM, but I usually watch the games at BW3 in Oak Creek.
