War Thread Annoyance

    I tried searching for the update thread to post this in there, but it isn't working. I also tried searching for the book thread, with no avail either.

    So I am creating this thread to ***** about it!




    But since I'm not the type of person to complain about something without offering a suggestion.....

    Why dosent some create a sub forum in the lounge for these threads since they are popular enough? Pretty simple solution, imo.

    What say ye @TitanJeff and @CRUDS ?

    Oh ****....

    It wouldn't be an issue if the search feature didn't suck. I have never complained about it before because I'm not a paying member(although I have tried to find out how), and I didn't use it much anyway, but the X Wars bombardment increases the search feature's use and it is garbage.

    The update page is at least 5 pages back, I think it's more like 8 or 9.

    I can't remember the name of the book thread.

    It really is a pain in the ass to find things.

    I don't have the ability nor permission to create new forums.
    I too can list a bunch threads I don't like as well - but the way this forum works is the popular threads live on while unpopular ones die a natural death.

    I searched for the "book" thread and it came up #4 on page 1..
    Don't forget to click the "thread title" box..

    I understand and respect that.

    But this is the equivalent to people creating a new thread every time they want to discuss a new book or new movie/TV show.

    The very nature of the "war" threads, goes against that very own statement. Just having more volume of something doesn't mean that it is more popular.

    Hip Hop Wars is legitimate content that several people participate in.
    But popular always wins out. Always.
    You're complaining about a system where you will ultimately win out - every time. Sounds like a pretty darn good deal to me..

    These war threads will die off when the season gets started.

    Isn't the book thread like 9 years old and 4 pages long anyway?

    Well... I did a search for "book thread" and selected "titles only".

    The first thing on the list that popped up was "yet another book thread".

    Is there another one?
