Was the no-call on Jimmy Smith's hold Kap's fault? I think so.

As much as I hate to admit it, the no-call was the right call...BUT, that's because Kap threw a borderline uncatchable pass. If Kap doesn't throw that pass a mile over Crabtree's head, I think he gets that flag. As for people saying Crabtree was pushing as well, that's because he was trying to get Smith off of him.

As for the blame percentage, I'm gonna go -

35 percent offensive line - couldn't pick up the clear as day blitz

55 percent Kap - bad throw

10 percent Crabtree - could have sold it better and it looked like he slowed down a little at the end which made the pass seem uncatchable.

But the no-call on special teams was just a disgrace, that had to be the worst hold that wasn't called I've ever seen.

SF would have had one play around midfield, obviously their chances of winning was still low, but you never know with the tips on hail mary. And they do have 6'4" Randy Moss with his long arms.

I thought it was a pretty good pass. First, he didn't have a lot of time and if Crabtree had gotten free, that pass would have been perfect.

There was no way crabtree was bringing that ball in. Idc if he didnt have a defender guarding him at all, no chance he catches it and gets two feet in bounds. Hes not that good. Randy on the other hand may have had a chance.

I guess perfect is a bad word, but he could have gone straight up for the ball instead of chasing it out of bounds.

...but with holding, it doesn't matter if the ball is uncatchable. He could have thrown to the other side of the field or gotten sacked and that still would have been holding.

They were both pushing off and grabbing each other

The ball appears to be uncatchable. Kae needed to loft it up more. With the game on the line, you don't just throw it away to avoid a sack/hit. You need to give Crabtree a shot at the ball, and that didn't happen.

Regardless, Refs should of called holding.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I think it was a good non-call. There wasn't actually that much holding.

I think there were several no calls in this game. I really don't care, but they were mostly in favor of the ratbirds. Too too bad, the double murderer retires on a superbowl win. Unfortunate indeed.

The corner had two arms around him, past 5 yards, in the end-zone, with the game on the line... that's holding.

It wasn't illegal contact. For illegal contact the ball has to be in the QBs hand still, and Colin tossed up the ball instantly.

Holding should of been called, IMO. The ball was catchable, i've seen crazier catches in smaller windows. Crabtree had enough space to grab that and keep two feets inbounds.

As for the punt-safety. Holding in the endzone is a safety, which would of been what they wanted anyways. The time would of still been the same, so it didn't really matter.
