What are you talking about? That's not close to true.

$6 million per year is not a good price. You can say it a third time, but it still won't be true.

You're neglecting to include signing bonuses, but hey... Not all goTitans posters are as thorough as yours truly :p

Scary thought. In 2014 Michael Griffin will be the 8th highest paid safety, If somehow we have him on our roster in 2015 he will be the 3rd highest paid safety in the league.:drunk:

    Owned? Seriously?

I'm referring to the salary number Landry referenced in the article that you posted. Did you even read it? Of course there would be bonuses on top of that. That doesn't change the point of the story at all.

Landry at a $6 million salary isn't a good bargain. It certainly isn't "good news" (your words) for the Titans that he thinks he's worth that much.

Landry at $6 million salary + bonuses isn't a good deal, either. The dude has barely been on the field in recent years.

The majority of the time, the signing bonuses are paid upfront. Spotrac averages them out over the years of the contract, since it's not public information if they get it all upfront or not. So the majority of them are around 6 mil a year. #owned.

    nice try, but no

$6M (including bonuses) for LaRon would be great for us. And the reason I know that $6M/yr includes bonuses is cause he's comparing his potential deal to Tyvon Branch who makes ~$3M/yr without bonuses

Also, I have -5% interest in LaRon. Redskins have always been that NFC team I root for (fam is from VA, thus all Redskins fans). LaRon is a freak, but is always hurt. No different than signing Bob Sanders. He was able to stay healthy and had an average year, somehow earning a spot at the Pro Bowl... thanks to his name (like Jeff Saturday).
