We Should Run on Jags Easy

    DL for jags has 4 dl on injury report 2 starters,big john & r. hayward de
    also mcdaniel is big johns backup ,the other guy 3rd string de,
    also olb starter clint ingram & OL IS OUR STRENTH GOING UP AGAINST A BEAT UP FRONT 7, oh c brad meester is the 6th they have him listed as 2nd string but i thought he was starter for years,maybe injury dropped him down &
    NOW THEY HAVE A NEW CENTER,

    I doubt it. Look for rushing yards to be hard to come by. But I guess we will wait and see.

    This will be a true test for our rushing o. If we are able to get good yards against the jags front then we should be in for a good year.

    Lendale is going to be a beast! He's going to get at least 92 yards on the Jags defense. He's a power runner and will make holes in their D. Chris Brown will come in and get those "pretty" yards, but Lendale is the punisher.

    From a Q&A section on the Jags site:

    They sound more like us last year - good personnel on the D line, but no depth and injuries getting in the way. Lots of young guys in the secondary and they don't know what they have or how they will all communicate and play as a unit. It still won't be a breeze, but if we execute there's no reason we shouldn't be able to open up the run on them. The extreme heat may even play into our favor - it sounds like the Titans are extremely well conditioned this year from a great offseason program. If they've got guys recovering from injuries to get on the field they might not be conditioned for the heat as well as we are.

    There was no mention of him aiming for that many yards. She said that he is going to get at least that many. Nothing about how many he was striving for.

    not 90 , not 95 ....... it'd be nice for LW to get that
    maybe Chris'll add another 60 - 70
    Vince with a manageable 30 - 400

    would be nice to ground out 200 on them
    but this isn't the Packers. (which I finally got to watch last night - good running all around from the backs)
