There is no doubt in my mind with this oline and dline, we will not win more than 3 games. Minnesota, Jax, Oakland, and Miami will be our chief competitors. Guaranteed!

Is there anyone of worth this year for such a high pick?

The worst part is none of our needs line up with having the first overall pick. Hard to justify an interior offensive/defensive lineman or safety that high.

Maybe someone will be desperate for Matt Barkley and we trade down?

    We need a RG3-esque trade.

    thats very possible

but lets not be stupid, if we are still in this position at week 8, then we can talk about the #1 pick.

Elite DL are drafted top 5 every year. Elite tackles too (Roos and Stewart are on the wrong side of 30 and not playing well). Safeties are drafted top 10.

But I agree with xpmar9x. If we get a top 3 pick and there isn't a true elite DL there, we need to wheel and deal to get multiple mid and low first and second round picks.

Safeties are rarely drafted top-ten. Six since 2000.

Why do people always look to the draft for immediate impact? Whoever we draft won't help this team from day 1.

We just better hope to grow as a team from here on out and not look at a draft pick.
JCBRAVE and Titans Eternal high five this.

Do the Browns still have any picks from their Falcons trade from 2011 left or did they blow them all on Trent?

If they have any, they need a QB pretty bad. Trade with them and take whatever they have left.
