    I grew up with that stuff as a staple in my house, my Mother is German and grew up close to Dusseldorf. I love, love, love mustard! I **** you not, I have over a dozen different types in my fridge. German, Dijon, spicy brown, curry, stone ground creole, French's yellow... damn it's all good.

    Nothing like a big whiff of Lowensenf Extra to get the sinuses opened up. :grrhee:

    Let's turn this into the Mustard thread. I love Nance's Gourmet Mustard, especially the "Sharp & Creamy" blend (plus quite a few other blends). It's from Upstate New York, so you may have to special order if it's not in your area.

    My Aussie pals eat that vegemite like there's no tomorrow..

    Of course their recipe for spaghetti is as follows:

    Brown 1lb ground beef
    add large bottle Ketchup and bring to a boil
    Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles

    Lowensenf Extra being top of the bill in that dept..
    Love it on some köstlichen Brezeln..
