What games do you plan on attending this year?

    I think the people who pay to go all the games regardless of the product on the field are awesome. That's just not me. I'm too careful with my money. I can afford to go and only live a half hour from the field. But when you're talking about dropping hundred of dollars for tickets, parking, beer, concessions, gas, etc. every single game.... well, put simply there are just things I'd much rather do with my money. Especially when we're getting blown out by 30+ points every other game. If that makes me not as good of a fan to some people, then so be it. Lately, more often than not I leave LP Field wishing I had just watched it on TV and taken my wife to a nice dinner and a movie instead.

    That said, I say all this stuff now but I'm sure I'll end up going to a game or two somewhere along the way. Kinda like how I swear every year that I'm done buying Madden. Then I buy it anyway. The football fanatic in me always takes over at some point.

    I said I was done playing madden many of times but the past years I actually went through with what I said. That was the worst madden ever created. If next years is better then I will consider getting it but from now on i'm gonna play on one of my friends system before I waste my money on that!

    I figured you did. I just noticed every other game you mentioned along with it was a home game. If we win that game it will be glorious and well worth the trip. I wish that one were at home though. It'd be interesting to see the reaction Fisher would get at LP Field on the opposing sideline. I'd say it would be mostly positive.

    I thought I was serious this past year. But I got the itch and broke down and bought it anyway. Big mistake. I'd say I've logged less than 20 hours on it, which is pathetic for a sports game. They completely butchered franchise mode (the best part of the game by far IMO).

    It's like they are trying to make it so realistic that it is taking away from part of the fun. To me a video game isn't supposed to be super realistic, that's what makes it fun. Like the fact that my RB loses balance b/c he runs into his lineman is so flippin stupid!

    Probably the 9ers game with my brother since he's a fan. It will be his first game but it will suck flying in from Los Angeles though.

    Yeah. That stuff doesn't even really bother me though. I just don't understand how you make the conscious decision to make a particular mode 10x worse. You can't edit player ratings anymore. Which is dumb. If I'm playing a game I paid $60 for by myself, I should be able to adjust ratings as I see fit. Especially when you've ALWAYS been able to do it in the past. It won't even allow you to edit player names anymore. Which is just beyond stupid. I always liked changing the made-up name rookies to actually players from that class. I hate when QB Lamont Smith out of Tennessee Tech is the first overall pick. Now you can't change that. You're stuck with Lamont Smith. It honestly almost seems like they're doing things to intentionally piss the fans off at this point.

    Going to all preseason games is noteworthy, because a person who can do that must have an attention span of gold, and money to burn.

    Preseason is the reason I would NEVER buy season tickets to the Titans or any other NFL franchise.

    oh yeah, and madden sucks. I bought 2012 (or was it 2011? cant remember) played it for about 2 hours, and never picked it up again. The fun was gone, and I haven't been tempted to pick it up since. I think the last time I really played Madden, Vince Young was the QB.
