And what if it lasts for a whole year? Besides the fact that Titan fans will need therapy, would they then combine two drafts into one. The NFL hasn't gone pfft for a long time, but with the owners and refs ready to walk, and with almost no time to fix the problem before march, it looks like we are headed for some pfft. Especially if Upshaw refuses to have a cap ( and if the players demand guaranteed contracts ). The NFL had best not be stupid, being that they are in a golden era for the sport, but with talk like this heating up it could get messy. The NFL draft may get tossed around a bit.

I don't see either side letting it get to the point of a work stoppage. Everyone is making a ton of money already, so they just have to alter the system, not rewrite it entirely.

I think both sides are hyping up the difficulties just to play the game. If you make a lot of noise, you make the other side think you're giving up more than you want to. Both sides are making too much money to let their be a work stoppage.

This isnt like the NHL. No teams are losing money, so they have too much to lose. With hockey, several teams were losing money, so the work stoppage didnt affect their bottom line (in fact, it may have helped it in some cases).
