What happens with pick 32?

I am under the understanding that Titans and browns will flip-flop draft order in each round. So Browns get the 1st pick in the 2nd round (33) ... BUT since NE lost a 1st round draft pick, that will actually bump them up to #32.

Will that #32 pick be a 1st round pick, or a 2nd round pick?

If it is a 1st round pick, then the Titans would still get to have the 1st pick of the 2nd round, meaning a full night to work trades.

OR, will the NFL just end the 1st round after pick 31, and pick 32 will pick up the next day?

Just curious if anyone happens to know this.

 

So basically 1 less player gets drafted this year.

That's true, but there is 1 less player drafted in the 1st round then. That Sucks for the player that would've gone Rd 1.

But it could also have some implications on signing that player. Player / agent will probably want money from the #32 1st round spot, browns will probably want to pay 2nd Rd money.

Not sure what the difference is money wise (probably not much)
