I thought they were really ticky tack myself but then again I'm just not used to the Roger Goodell pussfied NFL yet.

I wish people would stop acting like Brett Favre is a god and can't be stopped. We face Peyton Manning twice a year and hold him in check. If Manning's poop pooped...it'd be better than Favre.
He's not the same qb he was. He's not unstoppable. He's easily rattled, and still makes piss poor throws and decisions when put in the position.

Our guys just didn't do their job today.

I have to totally agree about Griffin...I was complaining at the tailgate about how the last few games on defense he has been tackling like Pacman used to. Granted, he has made some great plays on special teams, but that is kinda like shooting a deer when there not looking.

On defense of late he has wiffed way too many times on tackles he should have made....not impressing me.

Still think the drops are on VY now?

The WRs are horrible. Always have been.

they still look WAY better with someone other than vince throwing to them. At least these drops are legit and not balls they have to jump for to drop.

What I take from this game, and some of the recently preceeding games.

    - we had better get out in front early,
    - get some reps on other team's defenses to wear them down even if we're not scoring
    - we are built to physically take over the game in the mid-3rd and 4th quarters through battles of attrition,
    - we can't do that when we're behind.

    Agree.

I also agree with you on Favre being the greatest thing ever. If I have to hear the phrase "New York Bretts" again I'm going to strangle someone.

Here's what I take from the game:

Fisher is Fisherball. Fisherball needs run game. 11 rush attempts does not eat clock. Must run more. Give Fatty the ball more. For defenses to get tired, Fatty must play early and often. Chris Johnson is better only getting 50% carries, because he is more fresh.

If someone told me before the game KFC was going to throw the ball 39 times today, I would have bet every dollar I had that the Jets would beat us.

i'm glad other people are noticing this too. i was surprised we didn't see leon washington split out wide with griffin on him man-to-man like we did jones-drew last week. i guess the jets didn't really need to do it though.

The thing about Fisherball, it doesn't have to start out Run,Run, Pass. We need to soften up the Defense first, because people know exactly what our MO is and we are not good enough to run at people when they have just 6 in the box, let alone 8. I agree with getting LenDale involved earlier too, but again this only works when the opposition is not stacking the box. Let KFC get out of the gate hot and get the ball spread around to keep defenses honest.

    Predictive Fisherball SUCKS!
