Im not a big fan of Jim Schwarts, our defense showed up at times but i think we ran a scheme that was built for catching up...
im not a hater like that Joe dude that called in to the Jim Wyatt show and listed 20 reasons why jim schwarts is the devil, but i think we use what talent we have on defense in a more productive way...

    What do Yall think?

Why is this in the rumor mill?

Jim Schwartz was found in the deserts of Mongolia in 1992. His appearance made it hard for him to be around other human beings so he was thrown in a cell with nothing but a red hat and a calculator..

Chief red hat spent much time messing around with this calculator since he had nothing better to do, and in time became deluded to believe that the device has all the answers in the world and everything should go through this amazing device before it is implimented in real life situations. He later started watching the NFL on his cell TV and fell in love with the way offenses and defenses collide and he started thinking of ways to combine his calculator with this sport which he has grown to admire.

Late one night, Jimmy broke out of his cell and crawled around the neighborhood and noticed that he was locked up in Nashville. He made a couple of wrong turns and ended up watching Jeff fisher get into a fist fight with a bouncers of one of the bars behind the building in which his cell resides. He noticed that Fisher was intoxicated and stabbed the bouncer in the chest. When jeff tried to also stab this mongolian monkey, he avoided him and kept jumping away from Fish's swings.. Jeff finally relized that this was not going to work and promised to make him water boy of the titans if he gave himself up and promised not to utter a word about what he saw...

"i don't wanna be a water boy.. make me head coach" argued little jimmy..

"well i can't make ya head coach silly" responded jeff.. "thats my job.. but i promise to make you defensive coordinator"..

"OK" responded the monkey.. "but promise i'll remain as the coordinator for ever and ever and ever?"

    and thats his story.

So plainy put.. he's a monkey with a calculator and a red hat.

I heard that Swhartz is skating on very very thin ice and if things start out the way they did last year hes going to be gone.I wouldn't mind seein them promote their linebacker coach Dave McGinnis to the Defense of cordinator. The guy reminds me alot of Greg Williams out in washington and has a great deal of knowlegde on the defensive side of the ball. All i know is we better start blitzin as soon as the season starts.I'm tired of seein 4 guys rush on every down and every situation.

    I'll bite!

No one has the littlest feeling that JS thinks our Ds talent level is way below average? It is not like this guy has always been a dud. He has had good seasons. I think his main problem with our D is lack of confidence. He feels if he blitzes hard he will not be able to cover the long ball or big play. We get burned by allof of big plays on times we gamble. I think he just does not trust our guys. I am not saying that we should just keep him because and it might be time for us and him to part ways but there is a reason he is still here.
