It takes a lot for me to see a movie in the theater to begin with. I either need to be looking forward to it for a long time(X-men: Days of Future Past) or it needs to be something I feel watching at home won't be able to replicate the experience of the theater(Jurassic Park in 1993).

I can count the number of movies that left such a mark on me the first time viewing them that I felt like I had to go back and experience them in the theater a second time.

Jurassic Park. I probably saw this three times in the theater as a kid. With my mom twice and then with a friend and his family. The theater was a lot cheaper then, so multiple viewings probably were not as rare. The CGI, animatronics and soundtrack were a perfect mix, with the first two being groundbreaking at the time. I remember getting goosebumps the first time the T-Rex roared and the surround sound made the seats vibrate.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. This was without a doubt the most fun of the original three. The fourth installment never happened as far as I'm concerned. I can't talk about this one with the same vigor as I did Jurassic park, but it was just a plain fun movie. I actually ended up seeing it a second time because a friend of mine hadn't seen it yet and it was really the only way to get him to go.

Inglorious Basterds. Probably my all-time favorite film. I love the dialogue, action sequences and the quirks of the characters. Helped put Christopher Waltz on the map for me.

The Dark Knight. Saw this one twice in the IMAX. Totally worth the extra $5 per view. The stadium seating is better than the giant screen, IMO, because no fatheaded family can obstruct your view. The soundtrack playing on that surround sound system too, just fantastic.

The first Jurassic Park is the only movie Ive seen multiple times in the theater. And nowadays there's so many movies alike, why would I even bother now?.....

I saw GOTG like 2-3 times in theater, and never regretted it. That's one of the very few.

Why am I the only person who didn't seem to like that movie? Was it the absurd racoon running around or that tree walking around and growing arms back.... IDK

Never saw it, but I'm 99% over superhero movies, sans X-Men. Once this current X-Men trilogy is finished so am I.

JC, just assume I hated it too because I hate everything.

me, I thought it was a fun movie. Had a lot of charm, good music, really funny, I just really liked it. IMO, Marvel can't top that. Every character was funny, even Batista, who was one of the least charismatic people as a wrestler.

Avengers 2 really tried to be funny, but it just didn't really do it for me. I don't know why one marvel movie makes me laugh out loud, one makes me roll eyes at their attempt at humor.

GotG had quite a few heroes and villains and balanced them out well.. Avengers: AoU was fun to watch once, but it was kind of a trainwreck, and overall pretty pointless.
