Was reading the "when will Wirght break 100 yards" thread and it made me think what I'd like to see us do first play against the Stoolers.

I'd like to see a heavy set, FB & TE. Play action (teams are going to be game planning for CJ, they'd put 8 in the box hopefully), roll out and toss it up to whoever is one on one, hopefully Britt. I'd like to see us go deep first play and catch them off guard.

What would you guys like to see for the first play?

Assuming it's the 25-30, playaction to Wright. Gain of 7.

I like the playaction call. Don't really want them to go deep, just want a decent completion to get Locker in rhythm.

I was gonna say a run to CJ but I think your right in that it would be too predictable.

which is why they'll do it. First play is CJ behind Warmack for a 2 yd gain.

Perhaps a run with CJ is so predictable, no one will expect it. Teams seem to love to be all flashy with the first play, I'd rather run it and pick up 6 yards. Solid start to the first drive of the first game.

I'm changing my mind to CJ running behind Warmack with Levitre pulling.

Exactly. I think they'll be expecting pass, because a run seems so obvious. If we can't run the ball the season's tanked anyway. I say run it right at em.

I say we start of with a spike ... no one will expect that.
