Agreed. Someone will take a chance on him around the 4tg.

Britt...no...I see him as our backup pick to Nicks in one, in fact. Robiskie I'd love to have in two, Thomas in three, Iglesias -- I hope we don't have to go there. And there are other "potential" guys I would rather have than Foster.

I would take Mohammed Massaquoi over Brooks Foster, to be specific.

A guy I haven't seen a lot of people talk about that I would love to see in the 3rd round or so is Louis Murphy. As a Florida fan, I love Harvin (whom I know people have varying opinions), but I think Murphy is going to be a better pro than he was a college player. He was our more "traditional" receiver, has good size at just over 6'2", and ran his 40 in 4.43 seconds. Honestly, he wasn't used all that well at Florida, but he always came up big in games. He typically had one really important play in almost every game this past season, and was one of the leaders on offense. He's a really hard worker, who turned it on the past two seasons after his mother passed away. Interesting story if anyone has the chance to look him up.

I think I found the biggest WR in the draft today...courtesy of Gil Brandt:

"WR Tommy Breaux (6-6 7/8, 199 pounds) ran the 40 in 4.51 and 4.57 seconds and had a 35 1/2-inch vertical and an 11-foot, 5-inch broad jump. He had a 4.38 short shuttle and a 7.16 three-cone drill, and his arms measured 36 1/2 inches."

Gee, he's a beanpole, but what a giant. Makes me think of having Gregg Guenther on the team.

Murphy is interesting, and I agree he's worth it in the 3rd round. It's just I hope we avoid the third round for receivers like the plague. That's not to knock him, and if he's selected, great. Offhand, I think he could add a lot more muscle up top. He's lean, but doesn't look like a jam-beater.
