There's been a lot of talk lately of how good Jake Locker can really be. There's some saying he will be great, and others saying he won't even be Vince Young.

Obviously it's far too soon to judge, but even so, people still form opinions based on what they think they know. The one thing that is for sure is, he'll be wearing No.10 for the Titans for a good while.

Jake reminds me of a few guys. He's similar in size and playing style of both Donovan McNabb as well as Rex Grossman. The good in that is, both those guys made it to Super Bowls. The bad, they're Donovan McNabb and Rex Grossman. But Jake also displays Aaron Rodger-like traits which is great, because as we definitely know, Rodgers is an amazing QB.

I sometimes feel as if fans/critics don't really know what makes Jake Jake. So I've included a recent clip with Mike Keith that shows who Jake is before he straps on the pads. Thats what will make or break a player, who he really is deep down inside. http://www.titansonline.com/media-c...ker_1on1/ab135749-eff2-405d-9179-bb2b46eff14d

If you think we're wasting our time with him, tell us why...
If you think he's just the bestest QB in the whole wide world, tell us why..
And if you honestly don't know, thats cool too.

DO NOT MAKE THIS A 100 PAGE THREAD ABOUT VINCE YOUNG, JEFF FISHER OR PIGEONS.

I'm sure he's already done that back in 1998 with his baby charmander.

He is an NFL starting quarterback. One step below rock star. He will party with hot girls, marry one that looks like a lingerie model. He will have 2-3 kids with her and she will divorse him about a year after he retires.

My sources tell me, his DESTINY is to win the Super-Bowl in a Donovan McNabb playing style.

I don't feel like I am seeing anything special when I see him play. There's no spark of greatness. I predict that he will remain an average quarterback. Never great, rarely awful.

There's nothing there, that when I turn on a Titans game, or go to one, I feel like I need to keep my eyes on him, for the chance that he might do something incredible. VY had that in his first few years, JL doesn't.

He'll get some time to develop, and he may improve and be a top QB, but I think he's a long way from being anything impressive right now.

In that case, how would you feel if somehow Andy Reid found his way to TN?

Lots of people believe both him and Munchak will be fired in the next month or so..

He's already married, and has a daughter.

See this is what I'm talking about. People make up their mind, but they don't know what they're talking about, at all.

Way too soon to judge. Sometimes I see flashes of McNair. Sometimes I see flashes of VY. But we haven't done him any favors so far in regards to coaching. We need to get the guy a legit coordinator and a legit offense to run. That's why I'm saying clean house. Bring in some quality guys. Give Locker the next two seasons to really settle into the new offense and show you what he's got.

Unfortunately he was sitting on the bench his rookie year and has been banged up this year. We're halfway through the guy's contract and still don't know much more about him than the day we drafted him.

I know a lot of fans disliked Palmer's offense, but with a guy like C.J. and a QB with Jakes arm, trying a modern day run-n-shoot was not the worst idea.

It spreads things out for C.J. and gets guys down field for Jake.

Problem is, C.J. is a power-I RB somehow, and Jake's receivers have stunk this year for some reason.
