He's coming from the Bills dude, it wouldn't be that hard to lure him away. He's probably counting down the days til March 12th.

I say we'll be a player for this guy, he fills a spot, the draft is no guarantee, and who the hell wants to stay in Buffalo, NY?

Everyone's brought up some good ones especially no state income tax.

But the overall sentiment on this forum is that we are god awful and will be for a long time and that is just not true. I would motivate him on being part of the renaissance in TN. CJ will get a lot of media attention which means the O-line will get media attention. We are a young team that is turning a corner and will be in the playoffs and multiple superbowls over the next decade.

I mean, I wouldn't pitch it as "we aren't buffalo" and "well we suck but you are going to get paid"

This is true, but I doubt players give a F*@% about that

The fact that he comes from Buffalo is all the more reason I think he'd want to go to a team that's actually good. We really aren't much, if any, better than the Bills. Sad as that is to admit.

Like I said though, hopefully he values money over winning. I'd love to have him.

Check out the other teams interested: San Diego (reason Eli refused to go there), Detroit and Philadelphia. Next to those teams, along with Buffalo, Tennessee does not look too bad.

No hopefully he doesn't value money over winning, those kind of guys are what got us here in the first place. We should have never shelled out that money to C.J.
