There's not a single post of Fisher love in this thread so what is there to whine about?

Not whining just telling the truth about fish

You sound like a butt hurt Fish supporter

    Or a Jim Schwartz hater

Either one is a loss and not a good look

If I say what you sound like it'll just get me another infraction.

Anyone that regularly follows this message board and pays even slight attention to who post what knows exactly how I feel about Fisher. I badmouthed him before it was popular. (heck, I had the Fisher in a manning jersey as my avatar for a year)

I am a Schwartz hater. Sounds like you'd like to wear his nuts as a hat so be my guest. You must've just become a Titans fan to not remember that Schwartz ran the bend don't break Fisher defense here for years.

Lions were in every game, except two, last year. couple breaks here and there and they could have been in the playoffs. Considering the lions recent history of being competitive is not there, thats an achievement in itself.

Helps if you have your franchise quarterback on the field too.

Talent? There is a reason Matt Millen has no job.

How were the lions in 2008? How many games did they win? ZERO

Coaching. The same reason we've sucked every year.

Coaching and injuries both contributed to the down fall last year including injuries on the DL and at QB (which includes the meltdown by Young). I do blame Cecil's lack of conceptual understanding for the defense but it was obvious that the D fell off when the DL injuries hit hard. Not many coaching staffs could with stand those kind of injuries and keep the ship upright. Obviously we have had a drop in talent at a number of positions on defense due to age and when you look at the change over in personnel from 2008 to 2010 it is apparent.

CJ also missed a lot of holes.

Not giving VY a free pass, but Fisher's coaching was linked to VY's meltdown. (Pulling him against Pittsburgh, not giving him a chance to return against Washington)

Everyone played a part, with VY playing a big one, but ultimately, it was Fisher's grudge that set VY's part in motion.

So we still have some VY fans holding on to hope that VY wasn't a huge part of the problem? We know now, without a doubt, he is a lazy arse who held the team back because of his lazy attitude. The coaching staff did everything they could for the guy and what success he had was as much because of the coaching as his play. His melt down was pure lunacy and immaturity on his part. If you can't see that you are missing it big time. There is a reason he is going to be gone even with a new staff and no proven QB on the roster.
