Rumors are flowing that the QB competition has been re-opened. Just a rumor.

I'm not a vols fan, but it was like watching a high school freshman play QB for a Legit College team. the vols coulda given them a game if they had someone who could do something other than hand the ball off to hardesty.

Couldn't agree with you more. Crompton makes horrid decisions and how he beat out anyone in college, let alone high school is a mystery unto everyone. Hope he picked a legit major.

They should be getting someone on the bench experience. Even if they turn out not to be the QB of the future, at least you would have an experienced back up. Time to start thinking about the future, because the present is going to be rough going through the SEC. Better be glad they beat Western Kentucky.

He'll probably still get drafted. Hell, Eric Ainge did- and he's no different, just had a decent QB coach then.

Ainge was 10 times better than Crompton, no way he gets a look by an NFL team. He doesn't have a chance in Canada either.

No, he really wasn't. The only difference was that Ainge looked like a QB (physically) and had Cutcliffe to hide his natural ability to suck much nuts.

    Rick Clausen outshined Ainge.

Maybe YOU should watch some games.
