Yet he doesn't have a job anymore. Go figure.

The guy quit on his team multiple times. That is enough for me.

Reason #1...really? Because he put his hands up when the crowd was booing? If that's why you want him gone, your entitled to your opinion.

Reason #2...Fisher said he wasn't the starter injury or not because he was done for the season due to the injury. So are you saying that Vince could've really came back and played or that he hurt the team THIS season because he got himself kicked off the team? You can't play both sides, so which is it??

    So...

    Reason #1 stupid
Reason #2 stupid. Is he injured or did Fisher hold him out the rest of the season?

Oh, and I though Collins gave us "the best chance to win". It would seem like Fisher would have no problem winning the rest of the games then since Vince was out of the equation.

Oh he'll have a job. A starting job. Maybe with his position coach in TN up in Minnesota. Maybe with another team needing a QB who can win. He just might be changing employers.

Fisher quit on the team. Didn't the media quote Young as saying, "I'm quitting on you, not the team"??

If he would've quit, he wouldn't have players still with the team supporting him. By meeting with Bud and trying to apologize with Fisher it doesn't seem like he quit anything.

The Jacksonville game in 2008 should have been the last straw. You don't refuse to go back into the game, ever. I was willing to look passed it because I was a fan, but I'm amazed that a former college athlete would be able to support a guy who quit on his team at last twice with such fervor.

The guy doesn't have the toughness it takes to play the position. He's proven he can come in when all the expectations are gone and play well. When things get tough and count he folds at this level.

I have no idea. Is he just injury prone, or did he get held out? Either way, he DIDN'T PLAY the rest of the season. It's completely justified for a coach to permanently bench a player for that.

As far as you thinking they are stupid... what do you think the vast majority of this forum thinks of you for still insisting Vince Young is a better QB than Aaron Rodgers?

what other starting QB in this league has ever been pulled because his coach wants to be able to throw the ball?

Yea, like Jay Cutler. Despite teammates standing up for him the media still found a way to make him the villain.

Yea, when things get tough he folds. Like the time in overtime against the Texans when he sprinted 40 yards for the game winning touchdown. Or when he lead us 99 yards for a TD against the Cardinals.

It doesn't matter what I say though, so I won't waste my breath. Your "rational response" crew has made that very clear.

So you don't know yet you judge him? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me. So your saying...just possibly, that VY wanted to go back in the game and finish the season and Fisher held him out???

    No............

And yes, I still think Vince would beat AR head to head this year. Rodgers might have more yards, but I feel Young would come away with the win. Which is more important? And its not that bold of a statement seeing VY has a better winning percentage than AR and VY started as a rookie while AR learned from one of the best.

I hope VY does go to Minny so he has to face AR head to head twice a year. That would be so entertaining.
