Those weren't shots. He was brought in as a backup both times. But I don't care to argue VY, he's long gone.

jeff fisher always drafted well and had talented teams. The problem was his teams would either choke or underperform in the postseason which is why he needed to be gone

He didn't always draft well at all. Michael Griffin, Chris Henry, Lendale White, Pacman Jones, Derrick Morgan....those are all 1/2 round picks under his watch. That's without research, I know there's plenty more terrible ones.

either way he had arguably the best and most talented teams in the NFL in 99-00, 03-04, 08-09 and didn't come away with a championship and underperformed greatly in the playoffs 2 of those years besides 99

If you couldn't find a long list of problems with Fisher, from his coaching decisions to his personnel decisions... you were in a coma for his tenure.

I won't say he was awful, but he is not a great coach. And might not even be a "good" one.

    He's a double edged sword...

He built this team to be "solid".. aka - Average. Yet, he held the team back from being it's best.

I wouldn't wish him on my worst enemy's team.

The rams were more talented in 99. As they showed in the Super Bowl. That team had a HOF QB, HOF RB and two top flight receivers.

08 had KFC QBing. He called it the best team he ever fielded in 09, and proceeded to start 0-6 until VY saved his job. Fisher was a joke from 2004-he left
