If he stayed theyd have been trash
have some banana
Tebow took the Broncos to the playoffs the same way VY took the Titans to the playoffs, and the way KFC did the next year. He hitched his wagon to the right team at the right time, and wasn't bad enough to keep them from losing.
Tebow, much like VY, made a few plays at the end of the game and everyone proclaims he is the reason they won. If Tebow would've played well for the 1st 3.5 quarters, they would've blown teams out.
Greg McElroy is starting over Tim Tebow. A guy who has been inactive almost the entire season.
the only problem. with your post, is that Vincent never took us to the playoffs. otherwise, I agree.
He definitely road the coattails of the defense in 2007 to the playoffs. He also threw like 15 interceptions to the Chargers in that game.
really he took us to the playoffs? man, those years we're a blur for me but still.....
I'm the guy smart enough to see that Tim Tebow can't throw the ball. You must be the other guy...
Yea thats incredibly sad to get leap frogged by McElroy, McElroy is not much better than a high school QB, IDK how Rex Ryan survives that decision.
I would love to see Chip Kelly take a HC job in the NFL and make a real effort at running his fast paced read option offense. Most people say that you can't run it because the QB couldn't stand up to the punishment. Well if you were to run the offense then you load up on QBs who could run that style offense. Get Michael Vick, Get Tebow, draft a QB in the mid rounds. If one guy goes down then just plug in the next guy. Would be fun watch.
I really don't see a coach picking up Tebow unless he plans to run that style offense.
don't be surpised if McElroy sticks. He's extremely smart (I think he killed the wonderlic 48/50 or something), accurate, and pretty sound mechanics wise.
I think there were some people who wanted us to draft him as our future QB. His knock has always been his arm strength but I think that's a pretty overrated quality.
