Where's The Love?

RollTide loves him some Peyton. Yes-sir, that RollTide loves him some Peyton. He's the only Manning lover I've ever seen online. All the real life Manning Lovers I see here in Hamilton County, Tennessee (Chattanooga) don't go online to talk Ponyboy. They just raise their glasses to disappointing big orange football and talk about better times... times when Florida didn't win National Tittles in everything.

 

Just because someone isn't a Manning hater doesn't mean that person is a "Manning lover". Besides, when men go out of their way to have a disproportional hate for another man I would suspect deep down there are deep feelings of love and respect and because they don't know how to handle those feelings in a mature way they maifest as hate by making childish jokes.
Kinda like a Houston fan hating on VY. They really love the guy and wish he was on their team. Of course in Starkiller's case the situation goes beyond the NFL back to college.

I am from East TN and I cannot stand Peyton Manning.... YEH YEH YEH he was a Vol, but one player from the University of Tennessee Knoxville isn't going to make me choose him over the whole Titans team. Mostly all the fans in TN that like the Colts are 100% Peyton fans and 99% wagoneers to the Colts.

 

I've never had any kind of admiration for either the UT Vols or Gayton Manning. But Kelly Holcomb on the other hand... he's a Blue Raider, which means he can do no wrong :ha:

 

I only hate the Manning-lovers with their stupid orange knee pads and easy grip ears.

I can assure I have no "hidden" respect for Manning lovers.

In regards to Manning- I agree completely. He is a helluva QB. Unfortunately for me, he has always been on the OTHER team.

 

Go Colts

I'm always surprised by how many people hate the Colts in here. I'm assuming the majority of people who post in here are from Middle or West Tennessee. In East Tennesssee, or Vols Territory, people seem to pull for both the Titans and the Colts. I personally pull for the Colts in every game EXCEPT when they play the Titans. So go Peyton and win the big one! Next year will hopefully be Vince's year
