    I think it's Paul Williams.

I'm with ya. Though I think Filani could sneak in and do a few good things too.

    Davis..

Has the best chance to play right away as our slot receiver. I think roydell williams will be our number 2 and with so many receivers fighting for playing time i don't see either p williams or filani doing much this year. Maybe 2008. Filani might have to sit on the practice squad. For p williams to start on the outside he is going to have to beat out gage and r williams a 3rd year guy and a 4th year guy.

    For what it is worth....

Bongo mentioned on titans central that roydell has been looking fantastic in workouts. Roydell might be our best receiver this year..

I've been hearing good things about both Roydell and Roby, but especially Roydell... remember he's been limited with some injuries (I think his hand and/ or wrist). I could see him giving Jones a run for #1 - if they both emerge I'll be ecstatic.

I voted Chris Davis here, but ironically I think Williams and Filani might have more of a long-term impact than him... but I think he's a lock to be active every week because of his return skills, and playing in the slot I think he'll have his number called a good bit... especially if Troupe/Scaife attract attention.

I think it problaly goes in the order of Williams, Filani, and then Davis.

Honestly R. Williams and Gage are not that hard to beat out. I don't know why I just don't like R. Williams. I just don't think he's that good. As for Gage he will be a little tough but I think this year we'll see alot of different WR's on the field.

Yeah. It's been said that Roydell has been by far the most impressive receiver in OTA's. Brandon Jones has been struggling, but if they can both just reach their potential, we'd be better at WR than we were last year.

Here is my predictions for our WR order (top 5)

    Jones
    R. Williams
    P. Williams
    J. Gage
    J. Filani

^^Gloat, how bad has he been struggling?

This year? Davis. He's the most NFL ready right now. If nothing else, he'll help us on ST, where the other guys probably won't. But Davis could also start as our slot WR at some point this season. He's the most polished of the three and the most ready for an NFL role, IMO.
