Which QB gives us the best chance to win in 09?

If Cassel were straight up a free agent, i could see it. But not costing a third and a first.


We need to upgrade the receiving game first, imo.

 

Do you think they would throw in a share of their 4th Superbowl title? I mean, we could very well argue that those two picks were a pivotal part of another Patriot championship, while we won't sniff the playoffs for five more years because we traded our 1st and 3rd round picks for MATT CASSEL.

 

The truth is that whatever quarterback we have is going to suck with these receivers.

Our Lord and savior who single-handedly won us 13 games sucked even though some of us like to pretend he didn't.

If we get a real receiver then whichever of the two QB's we play will have a better season than last year.

Again, Collins sucked last year and the pass offense was still terrible. Sorry.


We need a play-making receiver if Young/Collins and the Titans are going to do anything that matters next year (meaning no super bowl with 12-Gage as the #1).


Also, why isn't there an option that says "The team will be virtually the same with either one?"

Collins' job was to not turn the ball over and win games if the defense or run game can't quite get it done, he did both all year, and won the Bears and Ravens game for us.

 

Lets not go there. Thats obviously not what he meant.
