I guess I like the Texans to lose because I think they are a better team than Jacksonville. It's really hard to look ultra close at the division games this early in the season. Down the stretch it becomes much clearer what is of benefit to whom.

What is the national media's love affair with Jacksonville all about? Lets think back...........say 8 years ago.

    Jacksonville vs.

    W - 49ers (4-12)
    W - Panthers (8-8)
    L - Titans (13-3)
    W - Steelers (6-10)
    W - Jets (8-8)
    W - Browns (2-14)
    W - Bengals (4-12)
    W - Falcons (5-11)
    W - Ravens (8-8)
    W - Saints (3-13)
    W - Ravens (8-8)
    W - Steelers (6-10)
    W - Broncos (6-10)
    W - Browns (2-14)
    L - Titans (13-3)
    W - Bengals (4-12)

    Playoffs

W - Miami (7-1/2-6) first half of season/second half of season
    L - Titans (13-3)

Does anyone see a trend in this.

    Regular season

14 W aginst 14 teams with 500 or below records. 2 loses against the Titans the only team they faced with an above 500 record.

    Playoffs

Beat a Miami team that made it into the playoffs inspite of losing 6 of their last 8 games. Obviously a team on the skids.

    Championship game.

Titans were the underdog and when the Titans won the game I heard the talking heads all agree that they didn't think the better team won.

    I don't get it!

I voted for a Jags win (even though the very idea of rooting for either of these **** franchises gives me the dry heaves). As stated previously I think the Jags are completely overrated and will get smoked the moment they play a legit contender. Conversely I think a loss to Jacksonville may crush a young and possibly dangerous Texans teams' hopes (and they'll slip back into their familiar losing ways).

The Titans can smack the Jags later this year in Nashville to remind the Kitties of their proper place in the AFC South.

It would of helped us in the standings if Houston won, but of course the Cows choke again...
