Who Wants Johnny Manziel?

Discussion in 'NFL Draft' started by NewHorizans, May 2, 2013.

?

If Titans stink again, what would you do?

  1. Tank for Top Pick?

    22.0%
  2. Play season as normal and fix QB elsewhere?

    78.0%

Blame the person who started the thread. It was supposed to be a poll and a debate on Manziel who really wants to tank games? I don't think that was serious was it?

Besides we can get Manziel even of we go 9-7. Let the scouts go gaga over Bridgewater and a couple of other Qbs and we can get him later on.

Manziel will go to Oakland, depart that team within two years. Make his way to another team like Jax and fade away.

He will probably end up like Ryan Leaf except with bath salts.

I don't think the browns get this guy, I think he goes to Jacksonville because they literally have nothing left to loose, except their stadium lol. They could use some of Johnny football publicity next year even if he does stupid sh** ....... If only this guy could find a way to be mature, that would be great but that won't happen.

Yea I'm not sold that the 5'11 QB will translate well into the NFL.

As far as tanking games to get a QB. Don't you guys think we can still end with 8-8 and do something to get ourselves up high enough in the draft to select. Falcons, Redskins, and other teams have proven it is possible in recent years.

Drew Brees, Russell Wilson, and Michael Vick all say hello. It's not his hight that will keep hm out of the NFL it's the fact that he has no pocket presence since he plays in a spread offense and runs way to much.

^^ This. What we need to do is keep building our defense and OL until we see a guy that we think is a special QB (cough Brett Hundley cough) and trade up RG3 style to get him.

touche`, but that has to be exceptions to the rule right? Most often than not the smaller QBs struggle. Maybe I'm wrong, and I see now it certainly isn't the main reason why he won't translate.

I heard he had a spinal condition that prevented him from playing sports as an adult.
