It really bugs me because I had those 2 guys figured perfect. They were both available players for us to take and we blew it. Freaking Munchak, so glad he's gone.

Took a freaking Guard at 10, holy sh*t.... SMH

I know Chance will show up in time, he moves well and is as big as a buffalo, but you dont take inside linemen at 10, especially when monsters like Star are right there for you.

Just imagine how much better Casey would of been w/ Star taking on multiple players every snap. Star was a force on Run D, something we really lacked. Ohhhh what could of been. I also had a man crush on Kenny Vaccaro, Matt Elam, & Xavier Rhodes. Nailed it with Elam/Vacarro... not so much w/ Rhodes.

And that, my friend, is why it was record breaking to see even one G taken in the top 10.

So far, it was a bad pick. Even if it weren't.. one great G, with a mediocre rest of line does not help much.

It's not like DL.. where one great player changes the whole culture of a defense. Top 10-15 OL picks are stupid 90 percent of the time, IMO..

Unless your team is just that solid, and that's all you lack. But in that case, it's unlikely you would be picking top 15.

I personal think for our needs Hunter will be a better WR over Allen in the next few years. Part of Allen's success is because 3 WRs above him all got hurt, so he got lots of snaps early. If Allen comes here I see him riding the bench most of last season. Hunter can become the next AJ Green if he continues to grow as a player and put on alittle muscle

I wanted the EXACT same thing last year. Plus, I didn't know at the time we would be getting Schwenke as well. HE and Warford really bonded and played well at the senior bowl and became good friends. They were hoping to go to the same team.

Just think if we had stayed in place in the 2nd and taken HUnter (I believe he woudl have still been there) and waited until the 3rd round to move up. Probably woudl have only cost us this year's 4th, to take Warford. Then our draft would look like:

    1. Star Lotuleli
    2. Justin Hunter
    3. Larry Warford
    4. Brian Schwenke
