    Very good article. Excellent.

But have we been burned a little too much by "upside" recently? Specifically Woolfolk, Calico, Pacman. Maybe it makes sense to weight some other factors a little more - though admitedly injuries contribute here.

  3. not such with pacman, he wasnt a great cb this year but he will get much better, but he is probally the best kick/punt returner in the league hes so fast i think he ran a 4.32 forty, and we can use him on offense as a really fast weapon or as a decoy, hes gonna be one of the best there is i garuntee it, well i only garuntee that if he is able to stay out of trouble, and i wish i could be a fan of him but i cant because hes just such a jerk to so many people

Pacman's going to jail eventually. Move over Jamal Lewis. Bogota Jones is in the house.

The only good thing about that is we'll get back a HUGE cap relief when it happens.

I hope I'm wrong about this, but come on. A car registered to someone in Vegas with his nickname embroidered into the upholstery where Pacman allegedly gambles all the time? Why is that car in someone else's name? Did he ever own it? Was that a casino loan, or was it reposessed because of debt? Who puts cars in other people's names because they don't want you to know they have off-the-book money?

Too many questions. Too close for comfort. I know nothing has happened yet, but the circle gets closer every day.

But to get back on topic, great read by the way.

On Pacman - I love what he brings on special teams, but either the Titans got blindsided by the off-the-field issues or were far too willing to overlook problems for the upside. I can't recall a more disruptive influence on the team since they've been here.

BTW, I think I want some Vince Young too, but admitedly I don't have much to base it on other than the superstar performance in the Rose Bowl.

I'd also be in favor of trading down if the price is right and the Titans evaluate all 3 QB "close enough". Seems there's a lot of talent in this year's draft and picking up some extra 2nd and 3rd rd picks makes sense too if we can still get one of 3 QB in the first.

There's no way we can judge the Pacman choice yet. As for Calico and Woolfolk, some will say injuries have impacted both to the point it isn't fair to judge them either. I think this season will make or break both of them.

TitanFanBudMan - good point on need to win now.

Regardless of who they pick it doesn't seem the Titan's way to throw a rookie QB in there. Reese has said he likes to sit them - that playing them too soon can mess up good prospects permanently.
