Why aren't the Jaguars chasing Manning too?

    I'm quite frankly a little surprised with the Jaguars, well not really, they are the Jaguars after all so why would they do anything that makes sense... But seriously, why aren't they also trying to acquire Peyton Manning? They can't be serious about Blaine Gabbert.

    Does Jacksonville not chasing Manning, mean he's going to Denver and Jacksonville will get their guy Tim Tebow, or are the jags just that bad of a team that they're too stupid to try and improve?

    One might think selling tickets and filling seats would be a good thing to keep a team in town, guess the Jags don't think like I do.

    They probably realize that they have nothing to offer him other than money. IMO, the city sucks, the fans suck, and the team sucks continually.

    Tennessee is full of people who live and breathe PM. There's no better place for him to ride off into the sunset.

    I think Kaeotik and nickm nailed it. The Jags likely know he would never sign there as they have very little to offer outside of money. Also, the possibility that the team might not even be in Jacksonville anymore in a couple years is a major deterrent I bet. At this point in his career I think Peyton's definitely looking for a much more stable situation.
