Why aren't you guys furious? (Fisher vs. Munchak)

You know what? If he coaches next year... hire Andy Reid.

Case in point: Go watch the Superbowl video again. The first half.. Fisher didn't let McNair play his game and THAT is why we lost. We were lucky to be down by 9-0 and not 20+ points. IN the 2nd half, it's apparent that McNair and George put the team on their backs and played the way they should have played the entire game. If we had a first half like the 2nd half in that game, we would have a lombardi trophy and we'd be playing in J. Fisher Field

Then go follow the Rams and enjoy 16 years of nothing.

I don't remember seeing the play exactly, so I can't comment that much on it. I remember the sneak but even I thought it was 3rd down because the line was still on the field and I think the TV said it. But I think its the coaches' jobs to make sure they know what down it is...

I didn't see it. I'm just speaking hypothetically. I don't see how you can defend him if he ran a sneak on 1st and 10. Unless the marker read 3rd or 4th, which I doubt was the case.

CJ was pretty clearly short by about a yard to my eyes. They ran a hurry up for a sneak and somehow the refs gave us a first.

It was just bad officiating, nothing on Locker or the coaching staff.

Yeah, I can't put that one play on anyone. We were in hurry-up mode and, technically, got screwed by the officials who screwed us by doing us a favor.

Just an all-around messed up play, frankly.

Why is anyone even comparing Munchak to Fisher? How long has Fisher been a coach? How long has Munchak been a coach? Come back in ten years and we'll talk.

10 years from now? Why would we want to talk about Munchak's 2 year coaching career 8 years ago...
