You answered the reason for not going after Davis, ACL, Suspension, etc. Keller has talent but is far to injury prone and Bennett has been known to be kind of a d-bag.

He is twice as good and costs half as much. Not much to think about.

People forget about his blocking ability too. That's the biggest plus I see. He may improve the run game.

The guy is a football player is right on. I'd take a whole roster of guys like this kid.

Being a football player is one thing. But signing someone to a 17 million dollar contract for coming in here just to block as TE when we already have two good blocking TE's and for special teams is a little absurd in my opinion.

Pace yourself. This argument will be going on all year.

He had a crap load of drops last year. I dont want a liability when we may have to throw it his way!

-Like many others have said on here, he's more of a football player than Cook ever will be.
-One of the best blocking TE's in the game, we do have CJ/Greene now...
-One bad season with drops doesn't sum up a career, he was good in this category till last year.
-Very versatile player and we can line him up almost anywhere.
    -Great on special teams.
-Oh and tremendous value compared to Cook's contract which literally made me laugh out loud.

Oh and Bennett was quickly signed as well, Keller is ehh, and Fred Davis can't stay healthy and has had a few off the field issues.
