Why so lame?

I can when they have been an average team the past few years.

They'll be 1 - 3 and the first of the pre-season favourites out of the playoff race since the Packers will win the North and the East will have three playoff teams.

 

As a rookie, Peterson broke the single game rushing record. I wouldn't say they have just been "average". Jered Allen is also tearing it up. Oh and the Packers are overrated (as soon as they play a good team, they fold)

 

When did they last make a playoffs?

 

The vikings have looked considerably better than the browns. At least the vikings have a few real strengths. It should be a good challenge for us, their strengths match our weaknesses. Whoever wants this one more gets it. I hope our home field advantage and momentum pull us through what will probably be a rough one.
