Will AP get to 2,000 yards?

He's at 1446 right now through 12 games... an average of 120.5 yards per game. He's on pace for 1,928 yards.

I think he's going to top CJ2K and a couple others on that elite list.

I don't think he will, he has the Bears, Texans, and Packers left. If they're behind in the Packers game week 17 there won't be much running.

CJ was at like 1505 with 4 games left when he did so it's possible, and all the guys that hit 2k before were in the 1400's at this exact point. He just needs another 200 yard game, that's really the only way I think he gets it done.

Remember he was rusty when he first came back

First 6 games:
Averaged 68.8 yards a game

Last 6 games:
Averaged 157.8

If he keeps his new average going he'll be at 2077 yards for the season

I think he'll do okay against the Bears. He will run all over the Texans and Packers (again).

I say 1800

Bears -- w/o Urlacher and just gave up 108 yards to AP 2 weeks ago (on 18 carries)
Texans -- allowed CJ2K to get his first 100 yard game & a ton of injuries at the LB position
Packers -- Just ran for 21 CAR, 210 YDS vs them. Even if they're behind, they'll run for his 2K yards (just like we did with the Seahawks)

I hope AP gets it.

That would mean he'd get 75 yards per game in his next 4...

I doubt he'll get 2,000, but I have to say that his recovery from tearing his acl and mcl late last season has been utterly incredible!
