Both George and McNair would only get in if it was a really weak class. McNair and George were both very good football players but neither of them are going to be HoF'ers

    Curtis Martin made it.

I don't consider him much better than Eddie.

Curtis Martin is in fourth place on the career rushing leaderboard. Eddie is 24th.

Yes and he totally deserves it.

Earl Campbell is a Hall of Famer.

2187 attempts, 9407 rushing yards, 74 rushing TDs, 4.3 ypc, 121 rec, 806 rec yards, ZERO rec TDs, 10,213 yards from scrimmage.

Eddie is not too far behind.

2865 attempts, 10441 rushing yards, 68 rushing TDs, 3.6 ypc, 268 rec, 2227 rec yards, 10 rec TDs, 12,668 yards from scrimmage.

    Both played 9 seasons.

I know Eddie's 3.6 ypc wasn't great but he did have some wheels and made some big runs in big games. Like this one.

10,000 yard club is a pretty good one. I didn't realize that many RBs had 10,000 yards now.

I really only started paying attention to the league around 2000-2001, so I didn't see much of Curtis Martin. Probably why I considered Eddie better.

The thing about Eddie's 3.6 YPC was that he was consistently getting that amount, always falling forward, wearing defenses down, and shoving punks like Ray Lewis to the ground.

It was very, very rare to see him break a 20+ yard run. I'll never forget his huge run against the Colts in the playoffs or the game against Cleveland in the snow.

It's too bad he wasn't as durable as others. He was easily a top 3 RB in 1999 and 2000. He was never the same after the murderer ripped the ball away from him.

    I blame the Madden Curse.

I loved Eddie George, and he was a great RB for us, but he is not a Hall of Fame RB. I think if we would have won the Super Bowl against the Rams, he could of had a shot, along with my main MAN, Steve McNair.

If they don't make it to the Hall of Fame, those 2 guys will always hold a special place in the heart of us Titan fans..
