Will Fisher get Fired Monday?

My problem with Fisher...

When we have a losing record, he makes it fun. He does screens, options, and has the defense blitz. It works and we end up winning, but as soon as we have an important game, he stops the screens, and blitzing and goes to what made us end up being 0-6 in the first place...

 

...and never learns from these mistakes. That's the most important part. You'd think after awhile, he'd see what works. But no, not Fisher. Never. He instead thinks "one of these times, playing not to lose has got to work!"

 

dude you know our teams' owner. No way in hell he lets Fish walk with all that free contract cash....Fish will be the HC at least 1 more year. At the minimum.

 

Unfortunately, no.

He's given many reasons to be fired over the past, and hasn't been yet- so I doubt it happens while in contract.

So...we get at least a year or 2 more of barely getting by, praying for playoffs late in the season.

 

Reinfeldt is the best thing that's happened to this team recently besides Chris Johnson...and guess who picked him???

 

Deuce, Fisher is the guy keeping the personnel we have on this team from being 2-14. While I respect you're opinion, you're seeing this completely wrong.

 

I think the team is appealing to potential coaches because of cj2k. So we have a lure. As to the question of should we go fishing, I don't know. We're on a roll. Now is probably not the time to make a change.

 

I'm still not sure as to why so many people want to make a coaching change?

We were 8-8 after starting the season 0-6 due, in large part, to injuries to key defensive starters. Even if we go 2-4 in those games (I too, would have liked to go 6-0. But, for the sake of arguement....) we're in the playoffs.

Denver started 6-0, missed the playoffs. And, oh by the way, finished with the same record we did. The New York Giants started 5-0 also missed the playoffs, and had a record no better than ours.

Maybe we should, instead of trying to tear this team down, attempt to build on it's 8-2 finish.

 

Do I want it to happen? God yes!
Do I think it will happen? Sadly, no. :hmm:
