Defensive end Keyunta Dawson is trying to make the Titans at one of their deeper positions — defensive line. He produced a pair of sacks against the Saints and hopes that might help him earn a roster spot.

Other defensive ends likely to make the final roster include Kamerion Wimbley, Derrick Morgan, Leger Douzable and Pannel Egboh.

“The Saints do a lot of different things as far as chipping and stuff, so it’s kind of hard,” said Dawson, who led the Titans with three preseason sacks. “You have to do a lot of different things to get at the quarterback, but toward the end of the game, we started getting the rhythm of the game and it started opening up for us.”

I saw Dawson making quite a few plays this preseason. I won't be mad if they keep him.

Honestly never heard of the guy.

Can he take the spot from the great Malcolm Shepherd?

I really havent seen Solomon or Douzable do anything to warrant keeping them on the team. I would drop them and keep Dawson if it came down to a numbers game.
