Surprising stat: Tennessee is 4th in the league in INTs. 5th in sacks.

we lead the league in penalty yards at 984...next closest is the Raiders at 908 yds....the bye week will help us here

We avg 69 yds of penalties a game which is 7th worse....on the road we avg 83 yds a game which is 2nd worse

Our sacks seem to come in bunches...not saying it is a bad thing but...without a doubt our D line had no pressure against the bears...matchups???

What do I think of the secondary's execution?

    I'm in favor of it.

This is true. Seems like there were a couple of games like the bears game...it just seemed like the D was hitting a brick wall every time with the rush.

The Titans are also the only team with 2 players in the top 10 in sacks. Rak and Morgan. Rak has the most yards lost via sack.

Or the fact that Tennessee's defense hasn't forced a fumble all season.

one of the INT's was a strip more than it was a INT, but since it was never possessed by the WR it gets ruled a INT.

so yea, take that for what its worth

something else to note, the defenses we're about to play have generated a lot of defensive TD's, we just cant allow them to continue that on us, otherwise we're done. Titans cant recover from turnovers...

When QBs are getting the ball out in less than 2 seconds, the rush doesn't have time to get home.
Brady has made his living with that.

The only way you take that away is with coverage that starts at the LOS, not with a 5 or 10 yd cushion. And you keep the ILBs in the passing lanes. Denver did it to NE in the '15 playoffs, and it worked. Their 4 man rush had Brady on his bicycle all day because no one was open early.

But we don't have the corners for that, and only one ILB and one FS capable of that.
    Upgrades are needed throughout.

If I remember correctly, McCourty stripped a ball earlier in the season also. Counts as an INT.

Mariota has to stay on the top of his game, and be even better to beat Denver. Honestly, D touchdown(s) or turnovers are very likely for them in that game.
