Yeah, was scratching my head on that one. Ball hit him right between the numbers too. :disappointed:

It is sad that we can't depend on what is supposed to be our main running back and highest paid player but it is true.Unless C.J. gets out in open spaces he is not that good at gaining yardage.

I think we need to put Battle and Greene in there at the same time.Let those two wear down defenses early then give C.J. carries later in the game.

He was doing work until we had to play catch up. I'm not worried at all.

It's mind-boggling some of the things we do... Empty backfields, Reynaud at WR, Battle in on 3rd and long, and not putting CJ in on goal line situations to at least disguise what we're going to do. You can have Battle and CJ in there at the same time, Loggains.

Maybe I can ask you and you'll know, but has he hit his 30 mil guarantee yet?

There's definitely been some questionable stuff with the offense.

Schwenke helped, so no we won't abandon it. Greene will help, and like RSB said, it'd be nice to actually put two guys in at the same time.

To add on to what I was saying... there's no reason to abandon the running game. We were actually running the ball effectively against them. If it had been a closer game, we would've continued with it.

I think CJ and the entire offense will do well the rest of the season with the soft matchups we have ahead.

Ummm... after this season, CJ's guaranteed money should be paid up. And I honestly thought it already was.

This is his third year since signing that contract that averaged over $13mil a year. So how could the guaranteed money not be paid up by the end of the year?

I hope we can convince him to re-negotiate his contract, but more than likely he will bounce and go dominate behind a better line.
