    From colleague David Climer …

PITTSBURGH Although the Titans controlled much of the game against the Steelers, the 16-9 victory wasn’t secured until George Wilson corralled an onside kick with 1:22 remaining.

The veteran safety leaped up and grabbed the ball as Chris Carter was bearing down on him.

“It’s just me and the kicker. That’s who I’m focusing on,” Wilson said. “I’m expecting the high bounce and I know there’s the possibility I’m going to take a hit. I can’t worry about the hit or any pain as long as I finish the play with the ball in my hands.”

With the Steelers out of timeouts, Titans quarterback Jake Locker took a knee twice to run out the clock.
